A handoff is more than forwarding a folder.
The next person needs final files, important decisions, versions, unfinished work, sources and a short explanation of where to begin. Keep those together around the project.

The familiar problem
The files arrive, but the recipient still has to reconstruct every decision.
Give this matter a clear story.
- 01
Choose the version that represents the handoff.
- 02
Put the final local files into Packtell and connect external materials with their sources.
- 03
Explain important decisions and list unfinished work separately.
- 04
Write where the next person should start and which files they will need.
- 05
Check that the recipient can actually obtain the required files.
Come back without starting from guesses.
The next person can continue the project without interviewing every previous contributor.

Sharing the story does not automatically grant access to an external file. Confirm storage access separately.
If a file will not open
If a file will not open, check its device or storage, access and selected version. A visible name alone does not make the contents available.
