When every file says “final”, which one do you send?
final, final-v2, final-new, final-final: filenames turn into a guessing game. Keep the changed files connected and mark the version used for a decision, submission or delivery.

The familiar problem
The newest filename is not always the one everyone approved.
Give this matter a clear story.
- 01
Keep the proposal and its supporting files in one Package.
- 02
When a file changes, keep its relationship to the earlier version.
- 03
Add a reason such as “client feedback applied” instead of relying on the filename.
- 04
Select a clear version at approval or delivery and inspect the exact files.
- 05
Continue working without confusing later changes with the delivered set.
Come back without starting from guesses.
You know which file replaced which and which version the recipient received.
Keep this in mind when you continue.
Recorded versions identify a state. They are not automatically a backup, and edits outside Packtell must be saved or captured before they can appear in its history.
If a file will not open
If a file will not open, check its device or storage, access and selected version. A visible name alone does not make the contents available.
